Ardbeg Ardcore - Committee Release
A bold, rebellious limited edition from Ardbeg, Ardcore was created with roasted black malt — more commonly found in stout than whisky. The result is a dram that’s darker, punchier, and unlike anything else in the Ardbeg range.
 
Expect aromas of charred toast, coffee grounds, and dark chocolate, balanced with classic Islay smoke and a touch of citrus. On the palate it’s intensely smoky and savoury, with notes of burnt sugar, liquorice, espresso, and cracked pepper, leading into a long, spiky finish.
 
Bottled exclusively for the Ardbeg Committee, this release has become a cult favourite — both for its unusual style and its rarity.
